Hays Code Betty Boop (c. 1934)

This was a random inspiration born out of a late night of wiki hopping. I came across the poster of a Hays Code Betty Boop to the left and thought that the dress would be a cute, last minute addition to my Costume College 2009 wardrobe. I modified an existing princess seam pattern for the dress and added the cuffs and collar. Made out of black stretch cotton poplin.
