Florentine Gown of Gold and Pink Brocade

One of those outfits that languished in a semi-finished state for the better part of three years before I finally dug it out and finished it. Based on the extant red velvet Pisa gown from c.1560. Pattern was draped entirely by me, using images of the Pisa gown to approximate seam placement, etc. It has no internal boning and is not worn with a corset. Published research to follow within the next year.
