A Gown Based on The Portrait of Elizabeth Brydges, 1589

A gown of blue and gold silk damask. Petticoat of gold silk taffeta. Open ruff of white cotton organdy edged with needle lace.

1580s Gentleman's costume made and worn by Master Vyncent Atte Wodegate (Francis Classe).
