1360s cote of pink linen

14th century gown, pink linen

Fitted 14th century kirtle, c. 1350-1400. Self-supporting, side lacing and flat lined with medium weight linen in the torso. This fabric was an amazing score on Fashion Fabrics Club years ago, and I have yet to find anything similar for the $3/yard I paid for it. The fabric is a pink linen/cotton diamond twill/birdseye twill weave. Similar fabric can be found from custom weavers for ten times as much!

This gown has been re-homed. Hopefully the new owner loves it as much as I did!
